Where did they say he won't be released? It has been worded very carefully from what I've seen and the club have yet to say that clearly... Only that they hope to retain him beyond his current contract...
Mary and Brett both stated that he is under contract for 2015 repeatedly in a press conference.

I take full responsibility for this atrocious situation arisen by unfounded, unqualified commentary. I am appauled that i would actually go to a forum and post such gibberish.

Please forgive my incompetence.
My only and pathetic defence for this catastrophic upheaval I have created is that I was right.

It was a very awkward conference and one need not be a body language specialist to make that ascertion.

Over and out. :p

Where has it been stated anywhere that there is a rift between Mary and Morris? Other than in that thread that you created based on your "reading of the body language".

And there is no confirmation of you being right or wrong. You made a heap of assumptions in that thread solely on your own interpretation of the situation. Not everybody agreed with you. I certainly don't. I saw a captain (for only the second game and the first loss) and a coach in an interview that were disappointed in their performance where the team were soundly beaten by opposition that were positioned below them. I also saw some inappropriate questions from the media that both Mary and captain were not prepared for and tried to deflect the best they could.

As for "being right" about the Morris situation, it was rumoured before that press conference and your post that there was a potential situation where Morris had asked for a release. From memory this was already a rumour prior to the Brisbane game the week before.

Tru I respect your thoughts and agree with much of what you say in your posts, but to come on here now and suggest that "you are right" - that there is tension between Mary and Morris based on a press conference and "body language" is really just taking the piss.

Ok Honah, all good.

The " I was right" was tongue in cheek.

Reality is, I believed it was a very awkward appearance and in my own mind felt there some tension between Mary and Moz. That is all mate.

Tru,
It was a train wreck and you called it correctly when it happened.
Hell, even Viking would agree with you.

Honah doth protest too much. That presser was painful and ominous

The discussion was about a rift between Mary and Morris. If you can show me anywhere where that has been rumored other than in these threads, then I admit I got it wrong.

I am not suggesting that the conference wasn't painful, I am merely saying that it proves nothing other than they were put in a position they didn't expect nor want to be in to discuss one players future at a post game press conference. It is possible Mary and Morris have issues with each other, but it is just as probable they get along OK and Mary is doing everything in his power to retain him post 2015.

Yeah no problems. People interpret situations differently and some are willing to take a gamble on their gut feelings. I guess I like to wait for confirmation of facts before I jump to conclusions. Have been burnt far too often by allowing myself to believe somebody else's opinion before I knew the details.

Great to hear on triple M that Dylan Walker is poised to take his spot in the 4 nations tour. This will flow on into the NSW Orgin team and we can finally say bye bye to the person who is trying to destabilise the dragons. He had a terrible game on Sunday. As Wayne Bennett rightly said he is not the better Morris.

Don't present your imagined theories as fact.

Hey big fella.
Im in Crisis mode again lol.

It looks like the whole rockshow is in trouble.
The sad thing is, I get the pain of unloading and that Mary is doing it, but it can't hide the pain of the dreadful financial governance Doust has inflicted on the club and us supporters.
He thought he had a golden ticket after 2010 and we will pay for that on and off the field for at least 2 more years.
He is a dud of the highest order.

JMoz aside, there are only 2 obvious longterm Right Centre Selections for NSW (one of which should be the aussie selection):

o Walker: He is playing behind a great pack, but hes got tonnes of talent and a bright future, he has to be in NSW colours next year.. and should have been there this year.

o Hayne: The Hayne/BMoz right edge combo was f***ing amazing for Australia in 2013, 4 tries each in 1 game lol.. seriously freaky stuff.. therefore for NSW if they ever end up with a Moylan or Tedesco or Dufty *cough* as NSW #1, Hayne should slide straight into right centre.

Dugan has no chance, he was a short-term selection (as was Hodgkinson/Reynolds), Duges is almost an athletic 2nd rower, he smashes in defence and offence, but with an incomprehensibly bad passing game, a good defensive side should be able to wrap him up with virtually no chance of a slick ball to the winger.. you almost want to encourage him to pass so you get the ball back after the knock on.

Dugan struggled in defense in the centre position a fair bit I thought.

Would hate to see him in the 2nd row.
