He didn't look too clueless early in the season. He didn't seem to make a decision when he had Morgan, and Gower on his outside rather than Tonga and Ma'u.

Norman had some good but also alot of bad.

Wasnt too impressed with his kicking game, nor the times he was running (well truddling) around with no where to go.

He would be as good as Jeff Robson. Solid but not really someone who could win you a game.

He needs to run onto the ball rather than stand flat and then move which makes him very slow.

Okay, he might've been injured but that's what I saw.

Without Hayne now, he will need to step up alot more.

I remember that Mau was on the right to protect Sandow in defense and when he went off, Edwards moved to the right to protect Sandow.

Edwards played left until he got injured

Yeah, agreed. As I said, it's not definitive proof. I'm a bit of a Formula 1 fan tho, and it reminds me of an expression that became popular a few years ago: spare capacity. I disliked the expression, as I do most because they are overused, but it may be relevant in this case, ie Norman shouldn't just have Plan A in his mind, but Plan B and C as well, and be ready to switch to them at a moment's notice.

Jeff robson deadset are you kidding? Norman can step, Norman can lay a ball short, Norman can throw a 20-metre cutout pass, Norman can accelerate pass a prop, all things Robbo cannot, couldn't pick 2 more different halves

Norman was pretty solid for us until the back half of the year when you can tell he was playing busted. Interesting to see how both the halves go without Hayne there.

Ma'u started the year on the left. Edwards finished the year on the left but started in the middle.

I would hate to see how we will score points if Sandow gets injured.

2014 stats for Norman
Played 24
Line Breaks = 6 (1 every 4 games)
Hit Ups = 4 (1 every 6 games)
Off Loads = 8 (1 every 3 games)

For Try Assists, Sandow had 17, Milford was last on the top 20 list with 12 so Norman had less than 12

So at best 1 ever 2 games but probably 1 ever 3 games

For Line Break assists, Sandow had 11, Hayne was 20th with 10 so Norman had less than 10.

So 1 every 2.4 games at best but probably 1 every 4 games

He showed some glimpses but I am not convinced

here's a stat you probably didn't know.....broncos leading assists in 2013 was corey norman, even despite being punted to qrl for the back half of the season for signing with us.

he was playing a role for us but is capable of taking on more attacking responsibilities.

and justin poore and Adam dykes, bib lindner, Nathan Barnes all good players prior to their move here.

I will be pleased if he can live up to what you guys say in 2015 and I will praise him for it but I am allowed to state that I am not convinced yet

Interesting you mention Lindner. I was thinking Watmough might be our Lindner until I looked up some stuff tonight and found out he had a decent career after he left us.

Football aside, how do people think Watmough will fit in to the side?

I can't imagine him having much in common with many of our players. What the f**k do they even talk about when there is some down time?

Well I reckon he will hang out with fellow 2011 Grand Finalist Hopoate, fellow 2013 Grand Finalist Gower and fellow 2013 Finalist Fa'aso and they will talk about how they are re-creating the winning culture they are used to instead of the Wooden Spoon culture of the guys they are playing with these days.

I imagine Watmough will join Hillsong
