Then people are wise. :D But are they really 'mixed' metaphors? I'd have thought them to be consistent.

Well, you have a nautical theme (with the ship listing) and then you have a plumber and a sewage theme (pumping out the shit). So I would say they are mixed. You could get away with it if you said it was one of those old sewerage ships that used transport shit from Sydney to Melbourne in the fifties. That would be okay.

That might explain why the Mexicans have a chip on their shoulder about Sydney.

Well, that's what I mean - the NRL would some how have to find that the Parramatta Leagues Club was in breach of something or in some way operating in a manner that warranted their intervention in the first place.

As if it would be that hard to find shit on our club. Really??? Like I said, if there's will then there's a way. But they don't have the will or the balls quite frankly when it comes down to it.

Hayne having second thoughts about his gamble? Getting seriously homesick or is it the enormity of the task? Possible return by January 2015? Good way of getting out of preseason training I suppose. :). Just posting what someone told me today.

Source: A Parramatta great.

while i have doubts he will get anywhere with it, I wouldn't have thought he'd bail on it so soon

there's no way he would have been granted a release and be able to return next year to another club

they said it was conditional at the time

did he say specifically whether he felt it might be a parra return?

Of course it's Parra. Like I have said on here plenty of times and I will bet anyone. If he goes anywhere other than Parra in the NRL I will kindly donate money ($1000) to the club's favourite charity.

Just posting what an old timer told me. He has given me plenty of heads ups in the past.
hope the oldie is right and hayne is back.

maybe he saw centrebet were offering 1.20 that he never takes the field (yeah they have that option) and thought house always wins? or (if true) realised while doing his thing over there just how much competition from ncaa draft nominees there is and how far behind them he is.

Yep, his early release would have stipulated he not play NRL for any other club, until his contract was due to expire. Just like we did with Jamie Lyon.

Surprised Hayne might be calling his NFL dream to a close so early... wasn't he meant to be filming some reality tv show about his efforts over there? Won't make for thrilling viewing if Hayne is back here with his tail between his legs before Australia Day...
