Trial Squads V Roosters

The Panthers have named extended teams for this Saturday’s trial games against Wyong and the Roosters.
NSW Cup Coach Garth Brennan will take charge of the combined NRL & NSW Cup squad playing the Roos, while NYC Coach Cameron Ciraldo will lead his boys against the Roosters Under 20’s.
Penrith still has quite a few first grade players out with injury, but the majority are all due to return to the field in the coming weeks.

This is a NSW Cup trial. Given the amount of unavailable I'd say they are in the NRL Squad and will play next week in NZ

More likely he is fighting to not get cut, he cant be a garaunteed FGer at this stage.

How long is DWZ out for. Along with Mansour and Idris that is a fair whack out of our starting backline for round one. George Jennings, Blake and Simmons to come in or maybe Cleary goes conservative and goes Yeo,Simmons and Jennings..

Although I could handle if Yeo was at centre and it was only Blake and G. Jennings on the wing. If we have Simmons and Yeo in the backline I will be disappointed though.

The first week of the trials for Penrith traditionally don't have many NRL players in.

Next weeks televised trial V Warriors will see a few NRL players get some game time.

30-22 Manly overall, 16-0 Sharks with the first string teams on the field. About 10 to go.

Panthers lead 10-0 end 1st qrtr.

Blake Ferguson carving us up now. But you would expect that from the only certain first grader on show today. Has a double so far.

Also what do people think of Cameron Ciraldo coaching under 20's? Have we given up on that level or what? Can't imagine thats he's the best man to develop players.
