Wade Graham can't seem to get much of a look in. Jackson seems to be more highly regarded by so called experts. I don't know if it's his error rate or because he plays for the drug cheat Sharkies, but Graham would be a good fit for origin IMO

Pearce will get a run on the back of Maloney's game today, much like Maloney got a run on the back of Pearce when he debuted. I wish they'd just pick 2 halves on their own merit and f**k off with this club-pairing bullshit. Daley will insist on a club pairing, and they'll sit on opposite sides of the ruck for 95% of the series.

For the past 8 odd years, NSW have severely over-thought their selections. Get the best players into the team, it's not that f**king hard. Actually, it's so easy that year after year I reckon most forumers pick a better squad. Austin put his hand up today and should definitely be in the mix... but has about as much chance of playing in the halves for NSW at the moment as I do.

I'd prefer lewis on the bench. His a great player to be able to bring on when the game is getting tight. He won't fold under the pressure if blues are behind by the time he gets on. He seems like a coaches player, someone you can send out to do exactly what you ask of him. I'd hate to see josh Jackson on the bench, he seems like that work horse kind of player you start the game with. I think he'd be wasted on the bench

Pearce has already shown his not upto it. Adam Reynolds is rumoured to be making a comeback soon, maloney could easily play halfback and hodkinson has at least shown he can get the job done and not stuff up (despite his limitations as a player).
