I thought tedesco acquitted himself quite playing out of position, the only blotch on his performance sheet being out jumped by McManus

Paul Vaughan should realistically be one of the first picked. Averaging 140 metres a game is usually enough to get you in the conversation, especially when you're outperforming guys who are being talked about week in and week out.

paul vaughn 2015 ampg - 115

others in contention:

tamou 123 (sharing metres with scott and hannant)
woods 200
fafita 161
gall 198
merrin 159
snowden 114
klemmer 121 (off the bench)

probably tells the story, he's not far off just needs to be consistent for the next 12 months and will come into contention next time round

I think we have a wealth of choice up front. We need our forwards to dominate to take the pressure off our halves.

I'm really keen to see Klemmer get a run, that man is pure animal. His game last year against JWH showed that he has no fear, I just hope he can harness his aggression and not do a J Reynolds.

if woodsy can take his rep performance to the same level as he doing club right now, it will allow someone like gall to make more metres because the opposition wont' compress so much, and then klemmer being allowed to freely reek havoc with fafita or someone like ryan james off the bench......it's exciting, but all depends on woodsy stepping up

Had to laugh, local radio here in QLD saying that the NSW players are getting off charges because they are NSW players and QLD players would be serving long suspensions.

Raiders fans are hilarious when it comes to their players. They're like the parents with the shithouse kid who don't understand why the coach won't play them.

Who do we think will replace Bird? The obvious choices would be Josh Jackson or Wade Graham

havent both proven their credentials primarily as edge forwards?

It's not merely back rower for back rower.

Bird is a middle forward for NSW. That's why Gallen has been shifted to prop for origin.

Scott (right) and o'donnell (left) were on the edges last series. Jackson and graham would have to depose those two.

This shit is pretty specialised now even down to their preferred side. This is where decoy plays go and if the edge forward gets it wrong, then the rest outside him will be f**ked. Scott and o'donnell were great organisers and leaders on their sides.

Do you mean Scott and Ryan Hoffman?

Tedesco in for Dugan if he's injured.

I've seen worse sides named. Including a few of mine.

Same old shit Queenslanders have been spouting for 35 years. The tired old lines never alter. And they seem completely oblivious to the fact that they're basically chanting slogans like a bunch of unwashed uni student protesters. Bless 'em. :p

Speedy backline
NSW best halves pairing available
Massive, aggressive and well balanced forward pack

A young side - all could be SOO players for the next 5-6 years
