What was good in 2015?

The best thing was that they announced that 4 games would be played at Leichhardt in 2016.

OK that's only good for the Leichhardt fans but the question was What was good in 2015?

The Tigers will play four home games each at ANZ Stadium, Campbelltown Stadium and Leichhardt Oval in 2016.

The decision is great news for inner west Tigers fans who feared they may have seen their last Leichhardt game this year, after revelations that playing games at the ground was costing the club a fortune.

Interim CEO Phil Moss said the club is still sorting out its future arrangement.

"This decision has been made for the 2016 season only as the Club looks at its future stadium strategy," he said.

"We’ll now work closely with our council and stadium partners to develop a long-term plan that’s in the best interest of the Club and all of our stakeholders, including most importantly, our members.

"Our three home grounds provide three different experiences for our Members and fans and we look forward to continuing to honour the Club’s proud history."

Tedesco is a massive highlight. He is one of my favourite players now.

Pat Richards still being able to play, shame you are losing him.

Simona and Naiqama.

I think your biggest let down was the pigs. 1-5 you are sound. 6 & 7 potential but shakey.

Forwards, inconsistent and not really damaging or intimidating.

I had a lot of fun watching your games though, despite how bad you went, you scored some incredible tries!

What was good in 2015 as well, you hammering the Storm.

I almost feel a bit sorry for you Madunit, that you can't even see an obvious joke and get all bent out of shape for some odd reason. Maybe you need a bit of a break from it?

I mean, Rocket for head coach?!

Did the bit about JT and his ripper yarns not clue you in?

Anyway, carry on lol. It's no fuss.

Good luck next year boys.

For me it has to be Tedesco!!
I hate to think how bad we would be if he decided to go to Canberra!!!

The fact you think I'm bent out of shape its a massive misconception on your behalf.

Perhaps you thought my post responding to you was serious.

In that case.

You've been played for a fool son.

Seriously:

1. Teddy. He was consistently outstanding;
2. S&C. Long gone are the speculative two week injuries that turn into two months;
3. Moses starting to come good at the end of the year;
4. Cherrington impressing in the game time given to him;
5. Lawrence finding new life in the second row. Went from our worst centre to best second rower in the space of a fortnight.

Spot on my thoughts. Everyone forgets that we FINALLY have a proper S&C department. Only things I would add:

6. Taupau getting more and more gangster as time passes

Good post. Our backline is still very potent. When Brooks and Moses take the line on they can cause some damage, they just need to do it more often. Simona is still a gun, Kev and Nofa both are very good too. Tedesco is close to an origin berth.

The pack apart from Woods and Marty lacks something. Sue, Ava, Sirro and Lodge have good games and bad games, Lawrence is solid, but the rest are plodders. Would like to see us recruit some good pigs in the future.

Given our dire back row quality and quantity, we simply cannot lose Lawrence right now.

Absolutely agree.

It came up in another thread some time ago but it is amazing how some clubs have quality backrowers coming through the ranks but WT are skint of any talent either in NRL squad, State Cup or U21's beyond bog average plodders. What has caused this? Compare WT to Roosters, Bulldogs etc.

I think when we let Gibbs and Fifita go and chased Blair, was the moment when we abandoned developing players in the pursuit of a quick, expensive, poorly researched fix.

True- but then again even comparing who has gone elsewhere since then or remained in the ranks, they;re bog average plodders. Our last home grown backrower that was exciting was Dwyer. No-one else has shown the flair or ability to equal. We have to buy in the talent.

This is a tough call to make. The wrong purchase can stuff you up. Taupau for instance was a great purchase. I think Naiqama has been great as well. Blair was terrible.
