How could anybody think Fifita was denying the crime. Drawing that conclusion from 'FKL' is borderline geniused. You are buying into media hysteria.

"Free {insert name here}" suggests that a person has been wrongly imprisoned.

Not sure how you don't understand that.

So it's definitely free? Or is that just what paul kent is telling you to feel. No one known for sure what the f means except for Fifita. And if only Fifita knows what the F means it doesn't mean he was publicly pushing for a free KL campaign

Keep ignoring the impact in favour of the (supposed) intention.
You might want to go back and source where the claim of "free" originally came from.
I know
I also know when they reported it they covered their arse by saying it could mean "free".
They made it up to make it more dramatic.

If a worker on my farm showed up with a swatsika tattoeed on his arm I'd be telling him to f**k off. I have people coming and going on my farm who i have to do business with and it's not a good look. He is representing me while he is on my farm so an obviously offensive sign like that looks bad on me. But if the same guy comes in with AHL on his arm it doesn't mean jack. It means something to him, but i have no idea what it means neither do any visitors to the farm so it doesn't reflect badly on me.

It doesn't even matter if it was definitely "Free" or "For" (although Sharks fans will have you believe the latter for certain despite them not knowing any more than you or me). If it can even be potentially viewed as support for a campaign to release him it is inappropriate and should be dealt with accordingly.

As stated - it's irrelevant if Fifita meant "Free" or "For" or even "f**k".

As ignored - impact vs (supposed) intent.

That's the issue here.
The NRL have floundered about and let the media have a field day with it.
It should have been dealt with accordingly weeks ago.
Also, people have a different views on appropriate punishment.
The NRL are making it up as they go along and the media is loving the extra miles they are getting out of it.

If it becomes blatantly clear that "AHL" means something that you have decided you don't want your business to represent then it becomes an issue.

So it doesn't matter what fifita intent was, it all comes back to what people make up in their own minds what it means?
Well Mal holding a press conference during origin week to say he is supporting his brother in his release is him supporting rape and murder (using the same logic the anti-fifita brigade are using). He should be sacked because i came up with that in my own mind, his press conference had that 'impact' on me
