The first League 1 game for the Wolfpack sees them take on London Skolars at the New River stadium. This game is being broadcast live on Premier Sports in the UK and Game TV in Canada. Kick off is 2:30 GMT.
Any way to watch this in Australia?
Seems like it would be perfect content for the new league channel. But we get a QLD show instead.
1,542. Club record for Skolars.Anyone know the crowd?
Not sure where they ge this info from. Toronto don't play in Canada until early May when they entertain Oxford. The Wolfpack head to Canada for their next three fixtures, the ambitious outfit paying the travel costs of opponents Whitehaven, Keighley and Doncaster.
Yeah that's just plain wrong, they're also not in the Championship as claimed nor 'Championship 1', which hasn't existed for years, nor does Moimoi play for Skolars. Awful journalism as usual for British RL.Not sure where they ge this info from. Toronto don't play in Canada until early May when they entertain Oxford.
Wow thats awesome1,542. Club record for Skolars.
We are where we are. Rightly or wrongly Toronto will have to work their way through the divisions. It will be (or should be) the same for any new club wanting to enter the English pro/semi pro system. Besides, it's a chance for some of the L1 teams to make a few extra pounds when the Wolfpack are in town.Gives huge weight to the argument made pre-season for why they have to waste a year in this league. Granted the Skolars aren't tough opposition but still. Swap them with Bradford 3.
Some of these "journalists" couldn't spell research let alone understand what it means.Yeah that's just plain wrong, they're also not in the Championship as claimed nor 'Championship 1', which hasn't existed for years, nor does Moimoi play for Skolars. Awful journalism as usual for British RL.
TW had an overwhelming victory but now, hopefully, the NA/Jamaican players on the squad may get more game time than they might otherwise have expected this season.
