But that you're very sorry to have hurt their feelings. You should respond to the email and explain that if they did their job you would not have had to contact the TIO. Its their fault

Wtf???
I get an email from iiNet declaring that they're disappointed that I contacted the TIO with my issue, and that all I needed to do was call them to have it rectified!
Where the hell do they get off?????

Tbf Eele is just one person. How does his disappointment compare to that of the thousands of iinet employees? Maybe some gift baskets are in order.Tell em you're disappointed you havent had any internet for over 6 f**king weeks
And that poor irish chap on the ads ... i bet you have broken his little irish heart eeleTbf Eele is just one person. How does his disappointment compare to that of the thousands of iinet employees? Maybe some gift baskets are in order.

That guy is adorable. I'll be watching any future ads very closely for signs of trauma. And that poor irish chap on the ads ... i bet you have broken his little irish heart eele
I didn't realise anyone had a choice. Are there other places that do? My net has gotten worse since switching but I'm with dodo. Most of the chaps you'll end up talking to at iiNet are in South Africa these days.
I've generally had positive experiences with them...however there's been a separate cable network in the ACT for many years, and the VDSL2 service works quite well....frigged if I'm switching to full NBN.

Gotcha. I know I didn't have a choice. It streams better since switching but seems to drop out more often. But it was never very good. You won't have a choice if you only have the traditional copper wire phone connection at present. In the ACT Transact set up their own cables to houses starting in the late 1990s (some fibre optic, some other shit). iiNet bought out Transact a few years back.

I don't blame you. I would be livid with that sort of response after what you've been through. Although I also think you would be wise to keep bandwagon's advice in mind. Not because they deserve to be treated with any respect but because it's a good way to get what you deserve. Not that I would have the patience.I responded, and kind of lost my shit.
I told them that I demand the issue to be fixed, and all my money to be credited back to me (I've spent nearly $1,000 trying to get it fixed, including the charges they keep charging me with, the cost of an electrician to look at the wiring [which was fine to begin with], mobile phone bills, etc), or I will sue them.
Probably a stupid move, but I can't believe the hide on them to get shitty at me for contacting the TIO!
I will say that the purple I've spoken to
