I’d love to hear a coherent, logical argument but I’m yet to hear or see one so I don’t really mind. We weren’t robbed but we definitely weren’t given the game. Anyone who would think that obviously doesn’t understand rugby league.
On another note when Cookie made that very good run to within about 7m of the try line where was the support?! Cookie needs that support from say AJ or Cody and he's not getting it!

We really need to lock him down mate. He's 26 and other clubs will pounce!

We probably have to pay 550 a season to keep him.

A 3yr deal of about 1.7mil is what we need to offer! He's to good too lose!

No one is whinging, we won, winners don’t whinge, but we do state what we saw as much as you should too

All the radio guys said today that once they watched the Nene try from behind it was a dead set try and in fact Reynolds suffered no negative bump

Not one or five radio guys, but every single one

But we ain’t whining ffs, we won

I have re-watched the game and was just amazed again with our effort. Last year, we would have got beaten by, at the very least, 20 points last night but the effort was just first class. It's that never say die attitude that we've been missing in previous seasons.

We haven't given the twins enought credit. They were on a roll at times last night and just really stepped it up a notch. Defensively, they were really solid too.

I didn't realise how good a job Cody did in defence on Frizell, Cody was a target but he stood his ground all night.

One more thing, our sliding defence could have been better. On the two occasions where McDonald gave us a scare, Reynolds and Crichton don't slide well at all and don't get across enough to help the outside backs so there's improvement to be made there.

I wasn’t saying you guys were whinging that was somebody else.

That’s fantastic but did they actually explain why it was a try? Or were they just stating it was a try without any explanation like most league fans tend to do.

My friends, stepdads, daughters, boyfriend said it was a no try but that doesn’t really make it fact? No, what makes it fact is that Nene didn’t get the ball down and there was not one part of the video that looked like he did. Gagai’s leg was under the ball the whole time and you could tell from the instant reaction of the Souths players that they knew it too. Nene bluffed it and failed.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s a small bump or not, it’s the rules. When you start making these things subjective it opens a whole new can of worms.

It was a great game and Dragons were the better team but both those tries were not tries.

Yes he was but badger didn’t send it to the bunker so they couldn’t review it. Man the dragons had it so tough!
What about when the dragons spilled the ball, Gagai picked it up and was away, the ref called it back for a scrum, was Gagai in the clear and heading for a try?

I do remember that one. I actually have no idea what that was for. I thought maybe it was because of a double knock on?

Is there a link to the apology? Because it sounds like you’re making it up.

Some talk that there was also a forward pass in that movement, not sure myself though as I haven't checked the recording.

News.com.au

NRL referees boss Bernie Sutton subsequently admitted his whistleblowers got the call wrong.

There is no quote on the article. It is literally News.com stating that Bernard Sutton made an apology. Considering i don't read News Corp Australia very much i don't think i'll take their word for it.

But was there a forward pass in the movement as well? It has been suggested elsewhere that this may have been the real reason the try was disallowed.

It was because Badger apparently 'didn't see the ball come out.' I was pissed with that one because Gags was in for all money and how can you not see the ball come out?

Oh really? That’s pretty poor. Ahh f**k it anyway. I’m over it haha. Let’s just go out next week and pump the roosters. Nothing would make me happier.
