Crush we should be beating the worst teams in the comp by 30 each.

Good teams do that you know.

Scraping over the line or losing to teams well under us, no decent top 4 team does that.

Maybe once a year is acceptable, but 3 times out of 4 we should put these teams to the sword.

You can see now that this is rubbish right?

So by applying your standard we can tell wo are not the top teams;
Storm - lost by 20 to manly
Panthers - only beat eels by 8, lost to dogs.
Warriors- only beat eels by 10
Souths - only beat cows by 1
Sharks - only beat dogs by 6
Roosters - only beat eels by 2
Broncos - only beat eels by 8

So by process of elimination the top team is.......

Haven’t even played a bottom 4 side. The lowest rank we’ve played is 5th last. And beat them by 46
Why are you downplaying the fact that by your standard we are the only good team , and that Mary is far and away the greatest coach in the land? Again just applying your standard that’s the only possible conclusion.

Like I said, don't compare what other teams have done to justify a shite effort by us if it occurs.

There is only ONE WINNER come GF day, and justifying losses or struggling wins VS bottom teams will not get you a victory lap.

Stop trying to justify reasons we may lose or scrape in.

That's a strategy for losers.

The only excuse for scaping a win is if we stand down ALL our origin guys like Souths did tonight!

Like I said - comparing to other teams is the most relevant comparison. Otherwise you end up with a standard like yours, which when applied results in the claim that th Dragons are the only top team in the Comp right now.

Oh and Souths beat sharks handily last week without their Origin players - maybe the result of football games is the result of more complex factors than you’re willing to admit?

Apparently Ben Hunt was and is suffering from lower limb confusion,on his quadricep.

I have no idea what that is, but if you believe the stats he only ran 21 metres with the ball in SOO game 1. It looked like that in the game too, like he was never going to be a threat with ball in hand.

Wake up you guys BEN HUNT took a few games before he started running for the dragons.it was his first game as half back for queensland .plus maybe the game plan was to get the ball wide to Inglis and company ........

Don't be so sure Possm. Bulldogs pack is pretty handy - Klemmer, Woods, Jackson, Fotala-Mariner, Tolman, Lichaa. If we get on top in the forwards, well and good. If the Dogs forwards match us there, which I reckon they can, we need a plan B. That means Widdop and Hunt to orchestrate something. If Hunt is still on one leg, we're in trouble, because Widdop on his own will be a repeat of last year.

We have been yakking on for ages now about our ISP players having more NRL game-time and the pathway for our juniors , well this is that time . These are the games that they should be called upon to play.

Regardless whether or not Hunt and De Belin are carrying injuries they , at least imo do require a weeks break to refresh them and bring both back to 100% . As already said by OKB1 ,Souths did so and were still good enough to take home the competition points . We have more then enough experienced heads in the team to compensate for their absence.

We do have players knocking on the door of the top grade , so use the blokes this weekend and the Dragons will reap the benefits of this for the rest of the season . I for one would breathe some what easier knowing that 2 of our most valuable commodities are being cotton- wooled for a week .
