Your starting to sound like him . I won't say his name ....For someone not obsessed with the coach you sure talk about him a lot.
I think 2018 we have the roster to be successful. The coach is the same old guy that has failed in the past but he never had a complete roster.
Its still not the best roster in the comp but its handy. They should do well.
OK Hazz, you've lost me a bit here but all good.Your starting to sound like him . I won't say his name ....
I would like to see Hunt, Frizell and DeBelin rested if they are not 100%.Crush, l'd like to see them rested.
It won't do them any harm but may ( JDB ) if they play.
It give our coach to blood some youngsters and explore our depth.
Every team needs depth.
Hope Sims plays.
Are you serious? I might just have to put a pick the score on for 10 times. lolDreamt Saints 38, Grubs 8
All good mate let's hope ...OK Hazz, you've lost me a bit here but all good.
Let's hope that we win on Monday and go top of the table.
A few big weeks coming up, hopefully all players stay fit and do us proud.
There are many here who are obsessed with the coach. lolNot everything is about the coach every discussion we have here.
I said if we play well we will win.
Simple.
I know you are obsessed with the coach. I'm not.
Nichols would do an admirable job. McGregor has got to start showing some belief in his depth players other wise, of course they are going to flop.Who do we count on as a reserve #7? Mann? We have the forward reserves but aren't match fit for NRL because of the benchwarming. Depth was always going to be an issue.
Monday is D Day Crush.Well we do. And he's got a team coming 2nd after 14 weeks, soon to be 1st.
Isn't the coach paid a LOT of money to COACH us to win? There are many here who are obsessed with the coach. lol
I don't know how much Mary is paid. There has to be a winner and loser every game (unless it is a draw after golden point). Only one coach can be a premiership winner each year. We were equal first at the beginning of this round, so all of those who think the coach is responsible for us winning or losing must then give credit to Mary for our position on the ladder.Isn't the coach paid a LOT of money to COACH us to win?
Any word on our Origin blokes backing up?
The wait is absolutely killing me. I realise it is a bit of a bogey team for us but really we should win soundly if we are fair dinkum.
Sacking him mid season if they lose round 14?Monday is D Day Crush.
Win and all is good.
Lose, and I am afraid Mary will have to go.
A coach is paid a very good salary ($400,000 - $1 milliion a year) to coach a team to be successful, without expecting to win every game.I don't know how much Mary is paid. The coach doesn't have control of everything that happens on the field. He doesn't have a remote control that controls what every one of his players do. He doesn't have control of refereeing decisions. He doesn't miss any tackles. He doesn't drop any balls. He doesn't give away any penalties. He doesn't play the ball incorrectly. There are so many variables in rugby league, that is why I don't like to bet on individual games.

How is success determined?
To create a team that makes the top 4, a team that plays an attractive style of football and a team that gels together.
I don't expect to win every game, but I do expect Mary to create a successful team, which includes beating sides who lie in the bottom 8 of the table.
If you do not expect to beat the bottom 8 teams, how can you expect to make the top 4 and in turn how do you expect to be successful?
We have already been beaten by the top teams, (Souths, Penrith, Warriors) so yes, we need to beat the bottom teams.
You can't have it both ways.
If we lose to the dogs on top of losing to the top teams, Mary is on his way out.
He needsto do his job, prepare the team, have the right game plan, make sure his players carry it out, make sure he has the team up for the game, switched on, and WIN.
No excuses, sick of hearing them for more than 4 years now.
Toughen up guys. No more mediocrity. It is insidious and ruins a club. Aim high. Create a winning culture. We haven't had one since 2011
Exactly.2nd must beat 15th bottom line!!!
The dogs are shit in fact they’re 7 different shades of shit!!
Well then, if everything you say comes true, yes, Mary should keep his job.I fully expect us to make the top 4. I actually think we will win the minor premiership. I think, barring injuries or suspensions to vital players any coach could coach us to win the minor premiership from here. I think that I could coach us to win the minor premiership from here. I believe that games are won on the field. I also believe that the team with the best players should beat the team with lesser players. We have a very favourable draw from here, that is where my confidence comes from.
Bennett has only won one comp in the last 11 years and many consider him to be the best coach in the history of the game.
