Id say the game will be gone by the time they get on if we do this

As opposed to our brilliant starts now? RCG is terrible at defense and Kikau is burning himself out carrying the rest of the losers.

Starting them off the bench Atleast means both are fresh for what they do well

Also take the 2 everytime similar to how Raiders beat the Roosters. We won't score off set starts inside the 20. Better off taking 2 and forcing them to stop slowing it down

We have one of the best goal kickers in the league and one of the worst if not the worst attack inside the opposition 20 metre zone.

We also have no problem rolling out of our own end from the kick-off.

We should be taking the 2 almost every time it is on offer against the better defensive sides.

We are best attacking from 30-40 out can still attack from there but 4 or 5 penalty goals pushes the score out

This game is massive for our season.

If we can't make a good account of ourselves, we will be nothing more than a small speed hump in the semis. We can be the team that plays St.George back into form.

The most important thing is to fix the myriad of problems that have now existed for ages. Forwards getting owned. Disjointed in attack. Soft in defence. Poor discipline. And yes, take the 2 even if we're 6-8 behind. This is really little more than a trial. The Storm were clunky themselves, took ages to get going and only won with the refs help. We don't need to win, but we do need to improve in just about every area. The side must have the ability to do this, otherwise we wouldn't have won 14 games.

I understand the logic but we can't afford to have Kikau off the field atm

We need to get back to playing finals type of footy...Whether that is enough to win is irrelevant really

I think we should name Wallace in the 9 . Or maybe name him 18th man ala Matt Adamson.

This is panic stations 101.

It would also be nice to NOT give away a penalty on the first set of the game. We set ourselves up for failure each week doing shit like that.

Literally concede 60m and take the bomb so we can at least get into the grind of the game.

What are the odds for 3-4 penalties against us in first 10 minutes bearing in mind we are in Melbourne and at least one 10 minutes in the bin.

I think we may see Keighran debut this week either off the bench or at 6. Similar player to May but lighter on his feet. Might be the breath of fresh air the team needs.

We need Maloney back at 6 to be any hope. Even though he hasn't been great recently, we need his experience to be any hope.

Also, I doubt Keighran debuts unless we have been given more room in our Top 30 with Whare and Egan out. If Peachey is also out then maybe.
