Id rather Jimmy get a 10 year extension and Hook to be coach than for Rein to come back. Truly awful player

With the squad we have,I bet Mick Jennings is secretly chomping at the bit to get back to the Panthers.
Ha ha I was expecting a good responseId rather Jimmy get a 10 year extension and Hook to be coach than for Rein to come back. Truly awful player
And I mentioned a few days ago,Nathan Cleary 5 years for $6,250,000.
That would be ripping us off. He is not worth a dollar over 1M a season, and that is assuming he improves over the next 5 years. From what we have seen this year 800K would be generous.
Where did that figure come from? That would be ripping us off. He is not worth a dollar over 1M a season, and that is assuming he improves over the next 5 years. From what we have seen this year 800K would be generous.
Where did that figure come from?
Sounds like it originated from here. The only figures Ive seen thrown around for Cleary all come from here.
Cant imagine Gus giving him $1.25m of our cap. I honestly cant see how we would even have that to give him. Jimmy on $850k. Mez and Tamou on ~$1.4,m between them. That would put 4 players on somewhere between $3.3m and $3.5m of the cap.

Penrith Panthers move to sign Ivan Cleary on three-year deal from 2021
PENRITH Panthers are reportedly closing in on signing Ivan Cleary as head coach on a three-year deal from 2021.
Fairfax Media is reporting the Panthers are in “deep negotiations” with the current Tigers boss, who is currently under contract until the end of 2020.
It comes after it emerged Cleary’s son Nathan is close to signing long-term deal to stay at the foot of the mountains until the end of 2023. He is expected to sign in the coming days.
The move from the Panthers could put pressure on the Tigers to release Cleary immediately.
Both Ivan Cleary and son Nathan have made no secret of their desire to work together, with Cleary senior doing little in recent weeks to hose down speculation on his future.
According to Fairfax, the Tigers will demand compensation if Cleary seeks to break his contract early. This would come in the form of players or cash.

and they aren't getting players lol
It also means we have a lame duck coach for two years if they don't release him.Panthers trying to wedge them.
If he signs for 2021 the Tigers can’t keep him around, meaning they have less of a negotiating position to demand compensation.

I can't believe the lengths that we're going to, to get back a very average coach that we've already sacked once. If this is pandering to Nathan to secure his contract, then it's even worse. The Cleary's will effectively be running the place.
What happens if Ciraldo turns out to be a raging success?
