2013 missed the finals by one game, with a roster that included Moylan, the Limmo, Sauce, Mose Masoe and little else. The 8-6 loss in Newcastle it was that cost us. But we crumbled against good opposition at the business end, sort of like the Tigers this year.
Disagree with virtually every word about Lodge there Luke.
To be expected, I think most on here will.
I think he's very close to his use by date but there's no doubt he's been close to the most damaging forward in the game for a while now.Fifita would be a great buy at any cost.
A lot of us have been saying this all along but it appears to be a done deal now so we all have to live with it.There is a big issue in re-hiring a coach we've sacked before

That is it. It's done now
Too me it seems like management thinks we should be going better then we are or atleast used that to justify the payout. Yet sign a coach unproven. Given Bennett, Maguire and Des are available all won premierships and yet not so much as an interview is concerning.
I guess we can hope it was done because they think he is the best coach for us and not to keep Nathan happy.
all the hated teams seem to do wellIt is done - and probably sooner than we think (if the press is on the money)
We will know soon enough if this has been a monumental failure or a master-stroke.
At the very least we will be one of the more disliked teams in the comp (which would make a nice change), and our first game against the Tigers will be interesting.
Ivan yes, Matt Lodge, no. Anyway there are plenty of assumptions that Matt wants to play for us.I’m pretty happy to see Ivan return, I wasn’t happy when he was sacked. I think he has what it takes to get this team firing.
I realise this will be an unpopular comment, but I’d really like us to sign Matt Lodge. He did make a massive dickhead of himself, but I think he deserves a second chance.
Most of all, he’s a freaking beast who is really keen to play for us. Personally, I think he’s the enforcer we need.
Imagine Lodge and Heatherington on the field together. Teams would fear us!
