He could say something like "nothing planned right now, but we are always in the market should an opportunity arise"

Also there is a time gap, usually, when he makes his comments, so things could change.

Spoke to Sam Mckendry this morning.

Asked if he was staying on. He said he definitely was.

Said he’s feeling good and will be back running in the next week or so.

He seemed really upbeat and looked a lot fitter than the last time I saw him.
