SKD?..Thank god. Why even look at him. He has as many brain snaps and drop balls a game as he does surnames. I would take Mann over him every day
I am with POSSM for a second in bagging Millward for even entertaining this idea...WTF are they looking at o_O
Would'nt it be good if every decision the club made....had to be agreed by majority vote of all forum contributors. We would KIBOSH just about everything they come up with.

Don’t bag Millward, he let Dugan go after all!

Of course you did, topper..
Brownie must read our forum and take notice of what I say.

I was also saying on our forum and Newcastle's forum that I thought Ponga looks like a natural 5/8 and that I think it could be his best position. Now Newcastle plan to play Ponga 5/8 next year. Brownie must be listening to me.

Mann for skd? Wtf were they thinking.
I once had high hopes for Mann, however after watching him for a few years, he has never reached half the height I was expecting, he is just an average first grader, if that.

I prefer he leaves and we find someone with some game breaking talent, a tough, hard, fast player. Mann won’t reach any height with us, perhaps if we had a brilliant back line he would fit in as a Mr reliable as he did at the Storm, but right now we need more than he can offer

We could easily say the same thing about Aitken/Lafai/Pereira. They are in reality average first graders that have the odd outstanding game.

At the end of the day, Mary coaches the team and selects its composition. Some of us on the forum believe he should start at either centre or wing.

Mary considers Mann to be a jack of all trades and master of none.

So whilst Mary is coach, Mann has no future with our club as a starter.

When Euan Aitken is fit, he is a destructive runner. When he is focused he can be a good defender. Too often in 2018 his defensive reads were poor.

Lafai has a good offload and is a solid defender. Lomax showed in a handful of games that he can beat his opposite number with a good step.

It’s a matter of opinion, and the only opinion that matter’s is Mary’s.

Best for all if Kurt leaves.

Let’s hope it will lead to 4 forwards on the bench.

I think management have to bite the bullet and release Kurt and worry about a SUITABLE replacement ( not skd ) but a talented centre winger. Kurt even though he is a professional player doesnt really want to be with us and we have said yep your outta here when we find a replacement . so his bags are packed and waiting , How can he train with the squad when hes marking time - Let him go in a sign of good faith to Kurt and look for someone else . Must be more players wanting to jump ship out there But lets cut our losses and wish Kurt all the best at newcastle

A couple of things.

I don’t have the stats but I’m sure they would have looked at SKD for his kick return and dummy half metres. I don’t like how heavily we rely on that phase of the game but that’s the game unless we improve our tactical kicking.

Aitken as a good or bad defender, has more to do with our field position and our spacing and ability to defend in the middle of the field. Aitken will not make freakish anticipation plays when the odds are against him. There is hope that Lomax might but either way it’s really more about what happens isn’t he middle.

I think the defensive combination with Hunt, Frizell etc should be better.

BTW why is D and H together changing to fake? i.e. dh

SKD...WTF!!! Did Mary tell Millward to find me a winger who can find the line.
Got caught out in translation somehow......f.ckin bizarre
So now does Millward need instructions from L plates? So:
He tried his best but Millward missed Hayne by that much.
He couldn't convince SKD but show's his lack of judgment by trying.
Who's next?

In reality Mann wants to go and we are prepared to let him go, so why not just let him and worry about a replacement when the right one cones along.
Mann would never be a starter under McGregor, only a bench utility, and i really cant understand his roll. There are a few that can fill his roll now, so why delay the inevitable.
A player wanting out to me isnt going to he 100% focused anyway.

So you're saying Millward "missing out" on a player who is now up for two counts of sexual assault, in two different countries, with a history of poor behaviour is a bad thing?
