The youth seem to be doing the job. Id be reluctant to replace them while they are performing with players who couldnt do the job last year. While their form holds Oregan and Stone must stay for mine.

I kinda agree with you but at who's expense? Manu has to be given a shot soon as well as Nrown.

Form will decide mate. Nrown is a way off yet and will be very much short of a gallop. Is Mau signed beyond this year? If the young guns show a need for a break and Mau is killing it in Wenty then the solution is simple.

There's a world of difference between coming on to the field 30-6 up and doing so with the scores more competitive. I think it comes down to the balance of player types/body shapes needed when the time comes.

Stone would be unlucky to be dropped, he had a dig and will only get better.

Ma'u should probabaly have a run at Wenty to prove his fitness.

Stone was great.
Peni was best forward on field in first 40. His charges where brilliant and that one on one tackle to force a line drop out. His passing game for backline movements also great.
I am just glad we didn't sack him. He is better then Tepai.

When Manu and Browns fit Stone and Kafusi are dropped. This years about getting those 2 up to speed for 2020. There will always be injuries and both will get 10-12 games.
How I see it. More interesting is when D.Brown back.
And also who we go with for 2020.

Moeroa made more metres (121 compared to 93), more tackles (22 compared to 18) and more post contract metres then Peni (45 to 35), and only played 4 mins more. They both made one tackle break each. Moeroa made 12 runs Peni 9.

Moeroa did miss 3 tackles compared to 1, however Moeroa appeared to hurt his shoulder and may have also gone for an HIA (happy to be corrected).

I really think Tepai comes in for some unfair criticism in this place. He busted his gut during the game. Ran the ball really well in my opinion. Even after he'd injured his ankle/foot.

If it wasn't for Tepai's 20m sprint from marker to make a tackle on Corey Thompson at around the 23rd th minute, the Tigers would have the first try at Bankwest
