We missed alvaro big time today. Our front row rotation was a huge problem last year ( along with our back 3 doing absolutely f**k all to get us out of our end) and it has been somewhat fixed this year with mannah playing so well off the bench and alvaro laying a good platform.

The first 20 minutes was diabolical.

That try? That is the problem with this club, we allow way too many like that. There is rarely the desperation in that situation like good teams.

We always talk about consistency and that shouldn't just be spoken about in positive terms. We are consistently losing games like this in the same way every single year.

We just don't switch on when we need to, sure we got back into the game, sort of but we are playing the team that has been the WORST team all year, and they were up 20-0.

That is consistently shit in my eyes.......the club accepts mediocrity imo and has since the 90's.

Agree it’s not good, but I see this squad/side as a work in progress and is building to a very good side.

Mahoney was gassed. Simple as that. Call it whatever words you like...

We never beat Newcastle. Forget it and move on. Last year or in like 2013 we lose that 54-8 or something

No it doesn't, but the point is that the kick played as much of a role in the try as the bloke refusing to catch it for some reason.

Bad kicks happen. I'd be more upset at someone deciding not to catch the kick when he has a golden chance

I disagree, we needed points if he catches it like you said he gets tackled. In hindsight that was the better option but if it goes back off him and we get it and score it’s a 2 point ball game assuming we convert.

Um, all of them?

Welcome to NRL in the 2010s.

Tepai should have just caught it, simple. It hit him on the chest! Those little things that just need to be done as a basic part of the game will hurt you if you don't do them.

No, but he kicked poor all afo.

You can point at individual moments all you like but we lost that in the first 30mins. We had no urgency and Fergo was obviously not ready.

The only good thing for us is that Moses and Gutherson will hopefully reign in their grubby players agents and face reality of their worth.

So in the 20m tap, leading up to our try, I'm pretty sure that Gutherson was tackled by a Knights player, who didn't retreat to the 30m line...

Didn't cost us the he, and we still scored, but f**k me dead...
