Looks like we did get the Lionel Hutz of QC’s. 0/2 last night.

In all seriousness though the judiciary and MRC are an absolute farce. They’ve done nothing but open themselves up for more ridicule by downgrading almost identical tackles and upholding Evans’.

Sivo has made atleast 3 tackles the same as Evans

I might just leave this here...

Burgess was also charged with grade 2 careless and won a downgrade to a fine

5 of the 8 teams have a forward suspended for week 1 of the finals with JWH getting lucky.

Souths - Surgess
Raiders - Eye gouger
Parra - Evans
Manly - Tapau
Broncos - TPJ

That’s a fair amount of talent missing.

So the judiciary have agreed that Evans can no longer tackle front on.

What gets me is when there is a head clash between attacker and front on defender. There is never a penalty, sin bin or suspension. Yes it is an accident, but so was Kane's tackle.

You can argue that some accidents shouldn't happen, and more care should be taken, but in this case it wasn't even careless! Parker slipped and fell into his shoulder.

Wasn’t the first contact with Parker’s shoulder?
No swinging arm. No shoulder charge.
I’m absolutely baffled as to why this was graded so highly.

And yet somehow Billy Slater was able to argue that a shoulder charge wasn’t a shoulder charge.

The bloke is 6’6’’ ffs. No swinging arm etc. It’s a joke of a decision.

Hopefully we get to week two.

Haha I was thinking last night, who would’ve thought a few months ago that anyone would care if he was suspended for a game. He’s surprised a lot of people.
The work with Spudd is paying dividends.
