Manly have Hasler as a coach. he has proven he can get the best out of average players, like Bellamy can. We don't have that here unfortunately.
Exactly. They'll make it work.

A big 3 that all play Origin and Kangaroo tours...so may not even get injured playing for the club
Just like Cronk/Slater/Smith did.
I'll just back Manly/Hasler to make it work. I don't think we have the smarts to ever make it work.
Would those 3 work if they weren't cheating early in their careers?
What gets you is match payments. Goes on the next years cap. Impossible to predict or budget for such things.. Anyway good luck to them
Maybe not but I don't think its the craziest idea for the right club. Especially Manly. I'd rank Des number 1 at turning shit/average players into good/great players.
Im hearing St.George with a leilua swapRyan Matterson officially released. Destination unknown.
Probably end up Parramatta.
Sharks still are way over, need to shed more than just DUGAN, moylan and fafita got to go too.Not sure how we will go with signings.
Tigers medically retiring Matulino.$800k free right there. Materson released aswell leaves them $1m+ and 2x roster spots.
Souths retiring Sam Burgess... and chances are getting him off the books completely. $1m free for them... what luck 12 months after freeing up $1m from Inglis
Sharks getting to likely sack Josh Dugan to add Ramien without cutting anyone.
Funny how everything works out for other teams. Souths especially. Retiring $2m+ of players on longterm deals within 12 months of each other.
We would have more then that. Even if we are paying 25% of RCG and Blake.
Josh Hoffman would be a handy pick up and cheap. He was a stand out for wenty and anytime called up for NRL was as good as any back. Give cover for 1,2 and 3.Very versatile.
Surely Souths don't get Burgess off their cap. The NRL will have jumped the shark if so.

Mulga?Looking at the list of uncontracted
Walker and Glenn still not signed. Joel Thompson. Ryan Matterson. Kyle Turner. Kurt Capewell. Takairangi. Sam Williams all those guys tick the boxes plus as Mulga said Sharks have massive cap issues. Canberra's upgrade of guys too.
Souths will miss the boat for 2020 it will be 2021 because Burgess is hard to get off the cap

They will easily get Sam off their cap.

MugaB bro, like the recently deceased dictator
Kurt capewell and ryan matterson would be a solid signing, we'll find out at 12noon, if that was him in that silhouette pic for the #jerseyrevolution
Its not anyone i know from the squad, he was too big to be nathan cleary
No worries Frankfurter2323, i thought it might be either Matterson or CapewellSorry Mr Dictator...
Yeah that is my thought to have a new recruit model the jersey
