Yep that's my recollection. Long term modest contract. Just wanted security and do the family thing. I think he's still good value. We aint getting JAC by shafting Deano.

I wonder if Staggs is an option. Apparently agreed in principle to an extension to 2022 at the Broncos, but seems they may have to move someone before they can register him with the NRL.

From Wellington NSW so being just over the mountains from home may have appeal.

The fox would be a great signing but would leave our centres unchanged and that's our biggest weakness IMO. Mansour to Fox is a huge upgrade for sure...

Only issue is Naden would never pass him the ball and a terrific player would be not used to anywhere near his potential. Although hopefully Kikau could work with the Fox... and our halves could get him chasing kicks. We need to work around Naden to get more out of him... as I dont think we can make a passing game a natural part of Nadens game. His instinct is always going to be to do it himself. Which is probably why he scores some freakish tries. But also why he has bombed a bunch too.

You could come up with kick plays for him while the centres develop more. Years 2 & 3 would be when you see the best in him

The most sense Gasiner has made. Goes with the decline in standard we have seen over the last 5 years or so

Gasnier is a good analyst, he usually makes a lot of sense when talking footy IMO.

It's a shame a lot of them do but are forced to play it up for tv and sound like idiots a lot. At least it seems that way.

You’re right about that, a lot of em on Fox have good footy opinions and insights I think but you rarely see it instead you just see em angry or mucking around, don’t really have a problem with the funny side of things but it would be nice to see em actually be pundits more often.

The club would possibly be in breach of anti tampering rules if they have been talking to him so they wouldn’t admit until he’s been given permission from the ceo or maybe it is just rubbish.
