I won't say who it is yet, it may not happen, but I know the reason why Souths have picked up the scent. And I think there is another club watching too. A few little dominoes are about to fall at other clubs.
Souths do have another option elsewhere other than here.
IF it happens I will share the reason.
My mail suggests its Tamou because he is unlikely to have his contract extended.

I don't know if Tamou will get an extension but this player Souths are sniffing around is not him.
Interesting because Tamou understandably wants to prolong his career and to date the club have apparently delayed entering into any meaningful discussions. He will be 32 after the end of this season so i guess you can understand the club wanting to see how this season unfolds for him.
I'll pitch Yeo or Fisher harris
2 down. Don't worry Blade we will have the name of player out of you before the night is over.![]()

Never the Fish.
Personally speaking I would like to see him stay another year or two. I think he still offers a lot. The club now is a lot more cautious.
Why would Panthers want to weaken there squad to help another team?

This is a good thing not bad. Clubs should be able to do as they like right up until round 1The whole merry go round thing so close to the season proper is a sorry mess in my opinion.
Not saying the draft is perfect but the way we do things in the NRL is unprofessional in comparison to the AFL.
The AFL had all there business and squads well and truly sorted before Xmas and here we are a month out from the season proper with players still changing clubs.
I don’t get it.
