24 has only 45 games to his belt. Hasn’t finished one season fully yet.. It limits your ability to go add some experienced if you want.

I can’t imagine other clubs were chasing... I guess it pays to be close mates with

Second part I agree with but he ain't clogging the cap. His injury and terrible form in early 2019 would have driven his price down below his market value i reckon. For our cap it's a good signing and at worst he plays reggies, what a quality player to have in reserve grade.

Not clogging the cap but if they decide to need an experienced ball player back there then this signing so early doesn’t allow for that

None at this point in time but teams will have bad years and sack coaches move players on. So who knows who will be available in 6 months

I'd like to try and find better options at FB than Edwards, but I'm ok with putting/trying Edwards on the wing. There's a lot of reasons not to like him on the wing, but they're the same reasons not to like him at FB, and he still finds a way to influence the game mostly positively for us regardless, so I think he could do it on the wing too.

Fullback is just too pivotal and needs more raw talent.

Tbh I think people underrate Edwards on here. It's like the first 6 weeks of last year has overridden everything positive he has done. The back half of last year he was fantastic & improving each game.

The current obsession with having a ball playing fullback will fade.

Fullback is a stacked position across the comp so he ranks maybe 10th at modt in that.
This is his 4th year of FG only played 47 games. Already missing 1/3 of this season he needs to stay on the field to improve so it is more then wanting a ball player alone

The need for a ball playing halfback is mostly dependent on your halves. If they’re providing enough ball playing then you’re fine.

He's Storm permanent now. He was shopped around beginning of last year I think due to salary cap but no one took him.
