Yep. If he wants spine money that's far too much. I like having him and he looks like a talent but he hasn't done much in the game yet.

Yeah I think the club needs to hold the line here, maybe offer him an extra 30k for making the origin squad. But 500k is very generous for someone whose only played 25 games.

Cleary to 9 luai to 7 burton to 6 we get to keep them all and have a great spine for yrs.Lets face it cleary is a great defender hes slower than luai and burton and he could kick out of dummy half.Melbourne showed as long as you have a good spine you can find makeshift forwards and backs that can still get you to a gf.Not sure what you would do with api short term but burton wont wanna stay to play centre or backrow his prefered position is 5/8.
