He’s one season in reserve grade short of being a good player.

Yeah he needed to be brought in like Jerome was, over a few seasons. The dogs started him slowly off the bench but then he was in and out of the side and constantly being chopped and changed with no consistency to the entire dogs spine.

Wakeham has been around the junior origin setup for a few years. Shows he has talent which for some reason hasn't been turned into playing ability

I think Whare still has plenty to offer our side.

As @Blade23 suggested earlier, he’s experienced and is a well liked member of the squad.

The club shouldn’t be held to ransom by player managers and a way of working around that is working with what we’ve got and if Whare can slot back in, is it so bad?

Hard to judge. He doesn't stay on the field for long enough

Hypothetically, he slots in and strengthens that edge and sets up more tries than he would let in.

To me, that’s not so bad. If he doesn’t perform, in comes Jennings or whoever.

It’s not like the centre’s found in the top 4 teams are all try scoring speedsters.

If, and this is a big if, Whare can get match fit and use the skills we know he has to set up our wingers, then I’m all for it.

This is all dependant on signing Crichton and Naden.

His injuries are a concern but he’s first grade quality, just not top quality.

He slowed down after his ACL. Had a toe injury keep him almost this whole last season. Leg injuries are hard to hide in defence so I want to see how he can move 1st. I see him so far as 5th or 6th in line for a game but time will tell

He's too slow and weak now so he can no longer get space for his winger. He's literally no threat to the opposition so he doesn't draw anyone in, they can just slide and sit on him
