I think the impression was Spencer wanted to go to market to test his value. Blades lastest comment suggests other clubs are throwing silly money at him.
I agree with Franklin we don't want to overpay now when Kikau and Api will come off contract in the future.

They'll likely throw silly money at Kikau, too.

Obviously we need to keep some space, but when Kikau & Api come off contract, Blake & RCG come off the books.

They probably will. I hope Kikau's manager isn't Ayoub.

Don't get me wrong, I want to keep Spencer, without breaking the bank. I just hope if we lose him the club dosen't go out and buy a bum like Packer.

That is it. Tetevano is proof you can get decent player on the cheap.

The stats say props peak at 25, 21-25 is when they’ve got the most power in their legs.

I feel 25 is when most props put it all together. You maybe right with leg drive developing earlier. I doubt it declines untill late 20s.
But short balls, passing and defense come a little later.

On Spencer how is the rest of his game. We all can see he has huge leg drive but to be successful in the nrl you need more. A bit of foot work an offload etc. Otherwise teams double up on you and we'll you may make 1 extra meter compared to another forward. Big deal......
