When a player contracts these days, they aren’t just stepping in the squad etc.

They get tested and health checked etc and clubs see that their injuries have been disclosed etc.

I Think Zac Lomax is the guy you are talking about.. He apparently wants to play under Madge and with Dragons picking up Suli and looking at Cutis Scott it might be possible.

Lomax would be an excellent signing.

He got fined up the rear end for bbq gate and the club promptly hung them all out to dry. $31k are they kidding?

He got proper legal advice and refused to sign the stat dec.

Sgi self imploded, smashed their finals chances and treated the players like garbage.

I saw a good solid team- the hope of all of us rabble, ripped apart by bumbling officials.

We might not have enough to sign him.

I’d auction Brooks off to do so. He would want $650 at least and that’s a bit over, but he’s up there.

After everything we've had to deal with Moses, Ivan and Matterson it would really be great to see the benefit of a player chucking a tantrum and leaving. Maybe Lomax should give Matterson a call and ask for some tips on getting out of his contract

After watching the GF last night, I’d offer the St Helens centre a 1 year contract. Surely better than any other centre at the club.

No promises, may play plenty of reserve games but a good club man with plenty of experience.
