At last we smelt blood and put a team to the sword.

In past we get to a handy lead and drop off inviting opposition back in the contest.

2nd half tonight was relentless and pleasing.

How does everyone think this years start to the year compared to the previous 2 years where we started 4-0.

We still have a lot of work imo. We don't have the explosive game of the top sides.

Maybe not but we've scored more points than all of them. Early days obviously, but our defence has been the problem so far.

I have a theory on why Dylan had a day out today. I reckon it’s because Lane didn’t play. The big merkin gets in the way and stifles Dylan.

That's why grinding them down is a good strategy for us. Because grinding is what we're best at. If we can stay patient we'll rack up big scores late in games.

Dylan was better last week. Yes good this week but last week he was great. Lane is our most explosive 2nd rower and worries defenses. Matterson has more grit in defense but his attack is bog average out wide.

We don't really know yet how good our opponents have been either. Our one loss was to the Sharks who are currently top four. How likely are they to still be top four at season's end? It's certainly possible.
