Not sure how anyone could be upset with martin.. he was brilliant last night.

Almost 150m
Tackle breaks, line breaks, line break assists, try assist. Shitload of pcm

That pass to charlie to score was seriosly first class.

Catch and pass 12 or 13m with a split second glance onto the chest of a flying staines....

Man some are hard to please on here.

Hes future in a few years very well may be front row but we simply dont have the cattle at 2nd row this year to move him. Next year will be leaner when kicks goes so you can give up the discussion of him moving in to prop for a while.

Between, fish, moses, leniu, sorensen, eiso... we simply dont need him there. Theres other moddles to id put in there first to before significantly weakening 2nd row to move him..

Teams are all about balances... our left is weaker defensivley cause of kikau... but people want someone with his attacking flair on the right... even tho the right is very good defensivley atm..

Martin is exactly the same style as cordner or angus critchon. Hes a great hole running backrower. He knows which holes to hit to bag a pie. And he often terrories opposition halfs..

Its the little things he does that go unnoticed but have a big effect on the balance of the side.

Him carting the ball a million miles an hour into a 85kg opposition 7 all game might not look fancy but it sucks the life out of the opposition plsyer and is hugely fatiguing.

I probably went off a bit early on Martin, he massively improved after half time.

I think Salman is a better player than Tyrone May. As a 14 would be really good value. They cannot all be stars, but he can fill 3-4 positions.

People saying Tago should have a rest back at NSW Cup, I'd prefer he have a rest sometime without a game to re-energize.

Api is a hard one, you cannot replace someone like that immediately. Did you notice Kenny imitating him last night?

1 said before the game that Nathan was due for a big game. 3 try assists 2 line break assists 1 linebreak 40/20 over 100 run metres at least one forced drop out. 150 supercoach points ( my captain) Not the best team performance but Sorrenson and Spencer were very good off the bench. Spencer is finally starting to realise his potential.

Not to worried about tagos defence tbh, it’s such a tough position even good defensive centres get it wrong sometimes, it’s his 11th or 12th game you just gotta back him to keep getting better. I thought on that first try Tago should’ve made the tackle in the first place but he did get to staggs and slow him just a bit if young may jammed in then he could’ve shut it down but overall it’s just experience. Tago has had plenty of very good defensive plays so he’s not clueless you just remember the misses and bad reads that lead to tries a lot more. Besides that it was only a couple of great kicks from Reynolds that threatened us and sometimes you just can’t stop those ones. A lot of teams are playing their best footy against us to start sometimes we just gotta weather the storm and back our class to get over them which we have been doing well this year. Cleary getting back to his best helps he’s probably got a bit to go still but he was definitely looking good tonight.
And Staggs is quite a talent. Nobody in the NRL would have got near him.

We could be on track for a crowd record breaking season 19000 for a broncos game sensational .the airport and new stadium will bring more sponsor opportunities .we are a club heading forward at a great pace

A lot of players are better than Tyrone. Very few can cover as many positions on the field to an acceptable standard though. He's started in the 6, 3 and 1 in his last three games for Catalans.

If Ivan thinks Salmon is an acceptably versatile 14, he won't need Kenny on the bench as well. That would be the plan I suspect but it means Salmon also needs to be able to cover the 9.

The players and fans (of both ours and opposition teams) will love not having to travel to Sydney airport. Having Penrith Airport so close by is going to be a godsend. And those long lines during Easter and Christmas will be better managed. :)
