I assume that he has contract with us (he needs to remember that and that they offered peanuts) surely we can’t afford to let him go now, with so many of our SR gone, he’ll just have to suck it up.

He might kick stones for a while, but he comes across as someone who will have a dig when it gets going?
That makes a lot of sense to me. Thanks for that reality check.

Hopefully Benji holds greater sway than his team mate the fraud Matterson or his aggrieved kiwi coach. However with our track record re getting fkd over & being a soft touch I’m not confident.

Don't worry about it till Parra are dumped out...also on top of holding him to a contract made in good faith is the fact that Lucy left BECAUSE we signed Paps.....that's no small damage done if he reneged...doormats no more...no more Mr Nice guys...they finish (guess where)

We must be the loan shop?

ROOSTERS REPORTEDLY CHASING TIGERS CENTRE FOR LOAN DEAL

Flirting with the NRL’s deadline-day the Sydney Roosters have made a move for Tigers centre Oliver Gildart for a last minute surge leading into the finals series.

The English product will join the Roosters on a loan deal which will keep him in tricolours until the end of the season.

If we don't dig our heels in and refuse to release Papali'i then we are basically painting a big sign on our club saying "raw dog me, I'm a bottom".

I'd rather we take the blow to the salary cap and play him in reserves then have to continue with this bullshit
Do u really want to bring in a unhappy player who doesn’t want to play for the club? Eels don’t want Nathan brown anymore that sounds like a fair trade

Titans won’t re-sign Fifita Tigers should be going all out for him 1.4m should get him from 2024

I-Pap is one of the best second rowers in the game. Nathan Brown can barely crack first grade these days. You're dreaming if you think that's a fair trade.

Papz can come here or face deregistration.

And let’s hope Parra don’t try to entice him to break his contract, with us, they should realise who our major sponsor and chairman are?
They had there chance and failed miserably?

They low-balled him when he won Dally M 2nd Rower of the year! We were champing at the bit to sign him up long term on a deal that was a great result for him. Pretty obvious who the classier club is.

Pole and Papalii, not a bad backrow

When Tuilagi went off Pole shifted to the left edge and went suprisingly well. You dont often see guys with his body shape having such good footwork. I do think his future is at prop but ince to know he can slot in there if needed.

Madden’s management spoke to Wide World of Sports following the victory, claiming that if the Tigers continue to support Brooks, Madden will have no option but to leave.

And who could blame in.
Has anyone heard chat that Hastings also wants out? I was told he wants out because people in the club are not happy with him - apparently he speaks his mind and people don't like that.
