I caught up with someone on Sunday who works for the club. Their feedback was "Paps has told all the team mates and club he does not want to go. Parra have tried to accommodate him and Benji's feedback was he will love the Tigers once he gets here."
Of course nothing is certain but Parra are doing what they can however a tthe end of the day he signed a contract with the Tigers. It will likely come down to Benji holding him to it which apparently he wants to do.

Benji needs to realise that digging up the old heroes of 2005 won’t have the same feel. This will all end in tears.

They let Garner go and Luciano. I'm sure they would of acted differently had they not signed Papali'i.
Only way he doesn't go is is we offer his full contract plus a player they want.

They would probably want Moses or Dylbags, Paulo or RCG.

The others I don't think they would want.

Maybe Lane would be a good offering but me thinks I would rather keep Lane instead of Paps coz he's cheaper

I meant we’d be paying compensation to the Tigers as well as Paps’ contract. I’m fully aware if he renegs he’s off their books and cap
