A definite fork in the road for the coaching career of Bradley Arthur next week.
Your right it will be Brad's 8th attempt as coach to get into a preliminary final next week he is currently 0/7 in finals that would have got us to a prelim.

That's worse then Brian Smith GF record.

Preliminary final is a pass mark but lose next week another fail.

It's almost got to the point where getting to a preliminary final though will feel like a premiership with this mob.

I feel though if we can get over next week's hurdle we make the GF. Sharks and Cowboys are gettable if we play them.

We thought that in 2005.

We thought that in 2005.
We will be underdogs not raging hot favourites compared to 2005.

As i said next week is probably a bigger mental barrier for this playing group getting past week 2 of the finals then the 36 year drought.

The relief of getting in a preliminary final will probably propel us into a GF.

Or we’ll mentally switch off

It's simple. Lose next week and BA gets terminated. It would be 0/8 to get to week 3.
Surely that's a record isn't it?

Just unlucky. Dam unlucky
No excuses next week we will have 95% of support at a packed out commbank.

I just hope the board don't use the Moses not playing as an excuse for straight sets if he doesn't pull up.

So having our best player out isn’t a significant factor? Surely you can accept that it weakens our team?

Welcome back...

When I read the first line, I thought it said BA gets marinated... which is pretty much the same result (except maybe tastier).

Where did you get this from?
I make it a 2 from 9 finals record - and 0 from 7 in finals games that would have gotten us into a prelim...

Prelim final won’t cut it. The choker needs to win the comp or get sacked. He’s had long enough. If he wins a comp give him what he wants. If not Sign Flanagan for next season.

If we are ever going to beat storm in a final it has to be next week.

We wont get a better opportunity.
We won't get the opportunity at all, thank f**k. Melbourne have a better team than us, as do the Panthers. And while the Storm shat the bed against Canberra there's no guarantee they would've done the same against us next week. We've finally had some luck. Let's hope we don't piss our knickers next week.
