The ticketed members might be able to keep their seats for once. Not be turfed out for a companion animal stick insect one of the new Balmain fans have to bring to the match to cope with anxiety issues.

Signed up during the Madge era, big wraps on him ( a young club hero) and I read we outbid Manly after our doomed Shuster outing.

Im looking forward to seeing how his campaign develops.

The Manly rank and file aren’t too happy he left them.

He was obviously looking for a more civilised existence and I’m pleased we could accommodate him.

Feledy scored 17 tries in 9 games for Manly SG Ball, that’s a mental scoring rate. Will likely start in Flegg but wouldn’t surprise at all if he plays first grade this year.

Doueihi set to manage himself

Wests Tigers playmaker Adam Doueihi is taking over his own management and has placed a hefty price tag on his services.

Doueihi has been selling himself as a No.7 or No.6 to a rival club and is after a three-year deal worth at least $900,000 a season. I’ve been told by those with knowledge of the situation he wants a minimum of $850,000 for the first season, with his price going up in future years.

With a dearth of quality No.7s in the competition, it’s a good tactic, but it remains to be seen if a club will go for that price. He is a quality player, but has had knee issues in the past. Even with healthy legs, he is going to need a breakout season to reach that level of income.

There are about half-a-dozen $1 million halves in the NRL, headed by Nathan Cleary, Cameron Munster and Daly Cherry-Evans, but Doueihi is not in that class.

The Tigers’ roster is better than it has been and if he can cash in on good service from the likes of Api Koroisau, Jackson Hastings and maybe Luke Brooks he may mount a case for an upgrade.

Good lord no. He's a decent player but hardly elite, and if that figure si accurate you'd expect a superstar level of performance week in week out. If that is what he wants, the Tigers would be wise to let him walk. No point paying overs for mid-tier players.

NOW I understand why the club hasn't been rushing to sign him! I thought all these stories about chasing halves from other clubs made no sense but it seems to possibly be a negotiation tactic from our club.

If he honestly wants 900k then I'd just say sorry mate we are going in a different direction and just go with Hastings/Brooks next year, or Hastings/Laurie if Brooks f**ks off.

I hope it doesn't come to that as I really rate Doeuihi but 900k is dreaming
