You should add the Karumba course to your bucket list. At least the prawns are excellent there.
Nothing like heading to the tree of knowledge and then losing it all at the animal bar....You should add the Karumba course to your bucket list. At least the prawns are excellent there.
The tree of knowledge is at Barcaldine, mate. The animal bar is at Ilfracombe. Did you get lost on your way to the Isa?Nothing like heading to the tree of knowledge and then losing it all at the animal bar....
Mate, do you even Karumba? The tree of knowledge is at Barcaldine, mate. The animal bar is at Ilfracombe. Did you get lost on your way to the Isa?
Absolutely! Great place to experience life in the outback, especially the prawns and crocs. And then there's the wildlife.Mate, do you even Karumba?
No. Should I? I'd have thought their specialty would have been haddock or cockles.Ever tried the Barra at Chumleys?
So you had to pull its guts out and chop it up before you could cook it? All this after having to go for a drive and catch it yourself? It’s too hard ffs. How did you find time to shitpost on LU?
If we ever get up that way I'm going to stop in at the Humpty Doo Pub for one of their burgers or something from the grill. Croc, Barra or Buffalo.Nothing like a fresh Barra that you caught that afternoon. When I lived in Darwin we only had to travel about 30 mins out of town to catch a few Barra for dinner.
Buffalo beef is pretty good too.
