So we knew from the grand final that Blake is not a winger and can't be picked there. Tonight also confims (if there was any doubt) Blake's not a centre and can't be picked there.

It's time we f**k Waqa Blake down to reggies, and since he's off contract tell him he can negotiate and early release this year if he desires.

Simonssen did alright in the centres previously, and so might be worth persisting with for another try there... Which means we'll need a winger since Russell is now out for the year, so it must be Dunster's turn next week?

And then we have the problem of the edge forward inside of them... we need Matterson back, and then Lane. Hopgood is the only recruit that really matches it at this level, despite us losing Papali'i and Niukore - it really is going to be a long year.

Maybe Cini, even Louzoi might get a turn later in the year - and if Sivo or Penisini get an injury then sooner rather than later - but first Cini needs to be made top 30.

He has no redeeming qualities on the wing. Can’t defend, gets ragdolled when hitting the ball up, runs bad lines, couldn’t diffuse that bomb tonight and he’s an error machine.
