Other than Gutho and Sivo, our back five is clearly substandard compared to most other teams.

What is worse is our depth. Yes we have injuries but we have no decent wingers or centres that can give us some go forward and start our sets off.

I know we say this every year with different players but I feel Waqa/Simonson will be BA's undoing.

Why did we not keep Opacic or at least replace him with a better center.

I thought Opacic chose to leave... as in he didn't seek an extension etc, but followed his path/dreams?

But agree we didn't actually replace him (or what Niukore brought as centre cover) at all - a huge oversight in terms of centre/edge defence.

Playing Murchie as a middle for starters, he’s a handy back rower that runs very good lines. Into the middle you go says SuperCoach!! Playing Hodgo for 80 when he hasn’t done it for years takes the cake for me.
