Rd22: EELS v Storms GAME DAY THREAD @ Marvel Stadium 28/7/23

Well I missed the match tonight as had family plans so was just looking at updates until it hit 30-10 and then I stopped looking. Seems it was a good option.

the season is over now and I’m relieved I can watch the remainder of our games without anxiety and anger. May as well be trial matches for all I care.

50% blame goes to BA and the recruitment team

50% goes to Dylan Brown.

2024 must be BA’s final year. I’m not overall negative on him, but it’s time for change. Reckon Robinson may even end up being available.

If Dylan doesn’t play like a man on a mission next week, I’d dump him to reserves for the remainder of the year. F**k him.

Sure these guys are not meant to be first choice 17, but you need to balance the minutes a bit better if you've got players playing gassed and gaps in the defence after 20mins.

I just saw a photo of Gutho in the match photos on instagram.

Did he seriously go the full shave on his head.

Was it to honour BA in his 250th or something.

Surely his hairline wasn't that bad.

I honestly thought Waqa improved a little in the second half last week, and this week there was no way he'd be as bad as last week. I just didn't think it possible.

The last 4 weeks the effort overall has been poor. The team, with some exceptions in some games has looked slow and disinterested.
I’m starting to think is there something else going on. Is the group split, has the coach lost the dressing shed etc.
