If those figures are correct. Penisini is a relative bargain and Paulo should be charged with fraud. Brown is on good money but Gutherson is a little steep.

We need to make some tough decisions in a few years time. Some fan favourites will depart. I’m thinking both props and possibly Gutherson if he doesn’t take a substantial paycut and shift positions.

We should have gone all out for Crichton. Thats what we should have done. BA needs to be sacked. I’m going to celebrate like we’ve won a comp when he finally leaves our club. His one dimensional tactics and vision is now a decade long and we have gone backwards.

We’d just come last two years in a row. Apart from a slip up this season, we’ve gone only forwards as a club since he (and the new administration) took over, culminating in a grand final appearance last year.

We probably aren’t winning the comp next year, but I think we will play Finals again. We aren’t coming anywhere near last, that’s for sure.

Then why are people complaining about these juniors being blocked from playing first grade by outside signings? They aren’t playing top grade next year anyway, we need someone to do it. I’m no fan of Harper and I’m hoping we see another (better) name come into the side, but relying on juniors for next year isn’t going to work.

They are from Zero Tackle so a educated Guess.

Because at the time they assumed Waqa, Dunster and possibly Loizou were first grade standard.

Waqa’s form fell off a cliff, Dunster didn’t come back from his injury as hoped, and who the f**k knows what happened with Loizou.

I think we did ok with Russell coming through, but we definitely do need to put some more talent in the backline. Thankfully Waqa is off the books which opens up a spot (is Loizou leaving too?) but there’s not much on the market to choose from, especially in our assumed price range.

Dunster had done his ACL/MCL/PCL earlier than that time line though and Waqa has been hit an miss and I dont think anyone ever thought Loizou was first grade standard.

Opa was also leaving 11 months ago.

Russell is good he will be a fine winger and backup fullback he may develop into a center one day but not a for a few more seasons.

The club needs to prepare for this Penrith signed Alomoti recently why didn't we? He has more upside than Harper.

Like I have said Harper is only coming to our club as we are the only NRL side throwing a contract at him that's not the type of player I want.
