I enjoy your contributions

you’re attendance or not at nrl games is irrelevant to the points about why brisbane 3 is a good idea for an nrl team

the dolphins have been a stunning success and will only grow even bigger

easts can actually be bigger than them by linking with the jets

we are so lucky to have these amazing clubs we can add to our comp
I buy non-ticketed memberships and merchandise. I watch on Foxtel.

I'll probably go back to watching Queensland Cup games next year.

Do you think maybe News thought the Storm was a worthwhile investment? tell me, why do you think an organisation like News would just just waste their money on an NRL club in Victoria, just to appease "expansionists"?
You do realise they cut the Reds to create the Storm, right?

It f**ks up your insane belief that the ARLC and broadcasters are going to "invest" in Adelaide and Perth just to pick up 20k viewers.

In one post he says News Ltd propped up the Storm, which would suggest they valued them, and in another he says they have no value for News Ltd at all. Or does he think News Ltd often prop up businesses for millions of dollars when they hold no value at all.
They dropped Melbourne like a sack of shit after the salary cap scandal.

I wonder why? Nothing to do with being neglected by NRL for 2 decades and sht FTA covg for half of that I suppose? You do understand the concept of growing an audience dont you? You yourself have proven how AFL has done it in Brisbane.
FMD you're a dumb bastard.

One minute you're bragging about Perth having 2 and a half times as many players in 1995 than in 2023. Next minute you're arguing that crowds from 1995 are irrelevant because it's 2023 and Perth has twice as many people. Funny how participation is less than half of what it was in 1995 despite having twice as many people living in Perth in 2023.

You go on about Perth having shit TV coverage because NRL games are broadcast on 9Gem. AwFuL broadcasts its games in Brisbane and Sydney on 7mate. If Perth's coverage is shit because games are on 9Gem then Brisbane and Sydney also have shit AwFuL coverage. Doesn't stop AwFuL from drawing better ratings in Brisbane and Sydney than NRL does in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.

and they cut the Crushers (brisbane 2) which you keep forgetting, over and over and over when even you bring up the Reds being cut.

So they should be, Brisbane is arguably the biggest RL city in the world lol.
You want "arguably the biggest RL city in the world" to have just two teams so the NRL can create unwanted ones in shithole fumbleball wastelands like Adelaide and Perth?

You call everyone else ignorant for not sharing your insane opinions on "add Perth now cuz a whiny soapdodger lives there", yet you're the living embodiment of an ignoramus. Despite living in Australia for over 20 years, the pea that rattles around your thick skull hasn't realised that rugby league is a two state sport in Australia. Adding teams in Adelaide and Perth won't change this fact. Fumbleball is so embedded in South Australia and Western Australia it is impossible for RL to carve out anything more than a negligible niche in Adelaide and Perth that will rely on NSW and Queensland for players and financial support.

Just. Like. The. Storm.

It's not in the game's best interest to create a side in Perth just so some thick skulled soapdodger can have a game to attend every fortnight. If you're that desperate to see a game then move to Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney or Wollongong. If you cannot afford the move then f**k off back to Hull where you can see two shit teams play in a second rate league. If that's not good enough for you then stiff shit.

I cannot think of anything more selfish and condescending than some prick from England telling rugby league fans from Brisbane they should be under served in the NRL and prop up a team in Perth with money and players generated by Queensland's rugby league community just because some whiny soapdodger with an entitlement complex wants a club.

Australia isn't a colony of England. You don't get to tell us what to do. Either accept the way things are or f**k off back to where you were born you whiny condescending prick.
