I saw Boods for about 5 seconds in the trial match where he was knocked out. Seems very small and has a lot of physical development in front of him before he could even be considered for First Grade.

Re Matt Arthur, have watched him for close to 12 years and is the best natural 9 in the juniors across that period. To be fair, he really needs another 12 months of weights and experience playing Cup to get ready for the grind of NRL.

He’s not as small as a few players in that position but shouldn’t be rushed , if brought through correctly he would probably be a 10 year NRL player. He has a real footy brain which is obvious when watching.

The reality with Matt Arthur is that he is unlikely to be here long term. We're not going to keep the coach just so that he can play here.

Yeah he looks decent. Just tends to overplay his arm a little. If he adds another 5kgs same as Balize they'll be far better for it.

I doubt he follows dad because I doubt Dad has a job after this one. Plus I reckon BA knows he is better playing not under him.
He'll have to get at minimum an assistant coach gig somewhere. If he is as good as predicted, a smart club would give him an assistant coach gig just to get the kid.

I suspect that was similar advice given to Jake, when he took up the Manly offer? Some people like to claim Jake was "run out of the club by the fans", but I suspect otherwise, and he made a smart choice to take the opportunity to learn from people other than his dad.

However, that said, Jake wasn't named on the Manly bench for this weekend, and if he were still with us he would have been named either on the bench or starting this week, ahead of Sanders and Blaize/Asi etc for sure.

Not really relevant, the coach is always going to play a 9 for 80 minutes when he can.
A couple of times this year we haven’t, including the Tigers loss. Interestingly, Lussick left the field at 14-8 and came back on at 14-16. Not to say Hands was the cause of the collapse, but he hasn’t been seen since.

Yes he did

but the reality is that a common fact in four of our worst defensive efforts up the middle in recent times has been an 80 minute Lussick

but I’m sure you will keep defending the selection - not because you believe it was correct and not even because you are defending the coach, the player or even the club - it is because you have this sickness where you have to be contrary
I just like to show all the relevant facts, not just the ones that suit a preconceived narrative. If you merkins were all talking up the coach and focusing on his achievements I would still be the voice of reason pointing out his failures. Like I do with Cleary. It illustrates the point that nothing is ever as bad, or as good, as you f**king nitwits pretend it is.

In other words you have no opinion, insight or desire to see the club succeed - you just take the opposing position to very one else for the sake of argument

it’s almost like you are the type of bloke who only started following parra when they were shit just to be different.

Or has to be different all the time to prove he is “smarter” than everyone else…

Jake's the brookie specialist has won more games there then Moses as a Parra halfback.

What a load of bullshit. Your "stats" are as selective as they come.
If you merkins were all talking up the coach and focusing on his achievements I would still be the voice of reason pointing out his failures.
You're never the voice of reason Pou. You're not even the voice - despite what John Farnham's song might have led you to believe. Sadie the Cleaning Lady is a better voice of reason than you - and she never watched a game of league in her life!
It illustrates the point that nothing is ever as bad, or as good, as you f**king nitwits pretend it is.
When is someone going to buy you a new hobby... maybe you could ask someone can buy you a drone to play with for mothers day?
