I started watching league around 1972 and remember Rod Reddy to be fantastic, tough and skillful. The Bath's babes era was so good and Reddy was party of that.

I was devastated when he didn't coach as contracted, it took the shine off my love for him as a footballer. Mackay was good, JDB is a joy to watch in defence but Reddy is the best since his time for me.

Growing up on a farm Rod Reddy was my hero as a kid, I had a little poster torn out of a Rugby League magazine on my bedroom wall of him striding out in Rocket Rod Reddy fashion. When I was about 30 I was in a carpark down south and across the carpark came this lanky figure and I knew who it was straight away, I very uncool and starstruck blurted out "you`re Rod Reddy" I was stoked and he was really nice, I think I almost shook those famous hands off.

After watching Lawson closely on the weekend..............did anyone else think he will take minimum 10 games to get use the NSW Cup?

He was at centre which a great test for him first up .........and yeah a decent challenge to say the least

I suppose Finau and Sloan are a fair way ahead as wingers...........so Lawson is learning in the deep end at centre

Does anyone think he will play NRL in 2025 or realistically a 2026 NRL player at best ?

Give Lawson one first-grade game playing outside Holmes, and then pass judgment.

Will the winger selected to replace Feagai do any better this week?
Will the winger who plays outside Suli play poorly?

love the enthusiasm Poss

Why didnt Flano pick Lawson on the wing in NSW Cup last weekend?

Seems like the natural progression of things.

I think he needs him rock solid before picked..............that way is he is ready he stays.........not get dropped

I know the game has changed along with fitness etc, but that 79 team had speed on both wings, full back, half. Currently we have Holmes and Liddle only. Considering Liddle is only on for short periods means we have only one speedy player CT is a powerful short distance finisher, but how did Sloan or Finau didn't get the other wing before, but certainly after last game, I don't know. Defense is what Sloan is criticised about but Feagai and Gutho were pretty ordinary.
