If we refused to up our offer then we weren't trying to remove the PO. If he activated the clause there was another PO waiting for him, which he didn't want. He ended up chasing the money instead.

Despite what @Poupou Escobar is suggesting we have more than enough money to replenish our forwards with the departure of RCG, Gutherson, Sivo, Cartwright, Joffa, Lane, Dunster and hopefully Matterson. We do not need Brown’s contract money that was saved with him leaving.
