That’s ok we got a ref that can’t pick a literally 5m forward pass when he’s dead in line .. That’s comforting.

I cannot get over how that pass was let go. We still lose and we have to learn to be composed but geez we cop it.

The Bronco player gave himself up for a knock on but the ref ignored him and let it go. Not a match decider but important for points difference

And the hunt tackle/ penalty at such a crucial time. you can’t expect to win with that shit from the ref..That was the end point. Although I thought we could still come back if hunt had scored.with 14 pts in 14 minutes There were also a couple of dumb errors around that time … Twals droped ball was huge and Bole’s loose carry and so called push but Benji should let rip

I won’t go on but just one little thing.. I do wonder if Galvin takes a peep before he gets the ball as preparation for what he’s going to do? His plan of attack appears to start when he gets the ball. Maybe I’m imagining it

It's hard to judge when the game just got away from us. I reckon Galvin, TDS, Latu and Bula are really good players. If anything Api and Luai haven't been getting the job done.

Honestly pretty happy with that, which sounds weird to say when you concede 46. Broncos have way more talented individuals than us so Scoreline doesn’t surprise but there’s no way they were 22 points better. The first half was the best half we’ve played this year, if it wasn’t for shit goal kicking we go in ahead and it’s a totally different game imo.

Luai, Skelton and Samuela should be back next week. Will be a good chance against the knights.

Let's put that game into perspective.

We played a team in their own backyard that is a significant step up in class to the previous opposition we have played this year. And we played them without a few of our class players.

Our first half was the best half of footy we have played this year. In fact, it was the best we have played in years. Yes, we have scored more points in halves over the years, but there was a structure and toughness in that first half I have not seen in a very long time. The guys actually looked like they knew their roles and looked very dangerous in the attacking 20. We also more than did our job in making yardage. Goalkicking, one bad defensive lapse and a shocking decision in the Arthars try hid the f**king fantastic effort and execution from our boys. We looked like a good first grade football team out there.

Then, there was the second half.

In saying all of that, whenever we play the Broncos, I always feel the f**king News Limited force behind them through the referee. The referee DID NOT make us lose that game, we did. But, f**k it feels uncomfortable with that fat News Limited penis making sure we get our asses f**ked for having the temerity to challenge one of the teams they own.

Im not going to bag our boys for that. They ARE improving.....but improvement takes time. Im happy with the performance of our organisation.....we are having a dig.

We are having a dig and we have a good team but we need to win games. We can't let the season get away from us.

There was plenty to like and geez that ref was crap but we need players to step up in those times. To be fair Sione and Royce came up with big plays but we need guys like Api and Galvin to come up with big plays.

I'll add that Doueihi did a good job in the halves when Latu came off.

I don't think you quite understand how f**ked our side was from the Lee/Pascoe era. We are starting our rebuild from a very low base. This process is going to take some time....not just one season.

I hate to break it to you, but we will not make the eight this season. Lack of depth in the pack and our centre will ultimately be our downfall this year. In saying that, I absolutely expect our side to improve....and to the teams credit, they have. The rate of improvement needs to continue though but these things take time.

Yes I think the game against the knights is a big opportunity for us to see where we are up to.

I also think we are waiting for a proper break out game from JL.

I’m glad the guys tried to die on their feet tonight. They had every reason not to.

And I never really bag refs, but the standard was very poor tonight.

It’s an interesting year in terms of clubs who are a bit suspect, doing ok and vice versa.

Playing the Broncos and Storm is a unique experience referee wise. It feels like you are playing against News Limited as well as a rugby league team. I don't even get that feel playing a prime Roosters or Penrith team.
