Problem with moving Tago to second row is that the current issues will remain...he will still be defending on an edge and will still have a tendency to over-read in defence and come out of the line
Exactly. And he’s not the biggest centre going around so I think he’d be quite undersized as an edge forward. He’s also not really a damaging ball runner anymore, I don’t know where that disappeared. Just my opinion.

What's happened to him? When he came into the team he was great on his feet, and now looks like he plays with lead boots.
When he was on the left side he was surrounded with luai and Sorenson. Some say since he did his pec, signed a new contract it went down hill.

If we're looking to sign a winger and centre from the list posted of off-contract players, Blake Wilson and Zac Laybutt respectively. Both are solid, sometimes spectacular, and will do the job.

Just a thought on Tago. Just tell him to mark his man and let others worry about the inside attackers. Herbie burnt him badly on the outside for the first try. Tago was unsure which man to take and paid the penalty. He did make a good tackle when the winger broke through later and was coming from the other side of the field trying to stop Hamiso scoring his third try. I know next to nothing about how to defend on the fringe BUT Tago just worrying about his opposite centre has got to be better than whats going on at the moment

Does anyone know what contract type Fale is on, and if he have him signed up next year?

From NSW cup highlights, looks a big strong runner of the ball that can both find the try line as well as set up his winger.

19 is too young, I was chatting to one prop last week in Jersey Flegg. He is 19 not sure of his name, big boy but he needs 3 years to at least taste NRL
Rubbish. Totally disagree. Dylan Egan ( best forward on ground ) Hamish Stewart more than holding their own at 19/20 years old. Even easier for the backs. Ethan Strange at Canberra ( 2nd year now ) Samale on the wing, Jaxon Purdue at the Cowgirls. Hell, even our own at the start of his career, Brad Fittler. He turned out ok didn't he.

a 19 year old prop isn't going to last 40-60 minutes a game all season at NRL level. Outside backs is a different story.

Good player but they already have Luai and Korisau. Bula doesn't look too bad either. You can't keep all 4 in the team. Gotta manage your cap.

Parra should take a stab at him. NZ too. Lots of clubs should take a look.

by end of 26 i think cole and garner will be gone and sorensen also due to age.

those 3 combined salaries probably frees cash up for galvin. the edges are replaced by the young fellas coming through.

So is Blaze isn't he?

Interesting if so. I guess you can't escape dealing with these types. But I wouldn't want him managing any of our highest profile players.

We aren't paying a million for another spine player anyway. The 6 at our club isn't worth that money to us yet. If Luai wasn't worth it then Galvin certainly isn't.

If you decided that Cole/Talagi wasn't the answer and were happy to swallow a couple hundred of Tago to shed the other $500, then let Sorro take his UK offer, you'd be looking at $1.4M or so minus the $420K to replace 3 salaries with min deal kids. So call it $1M to throw at someone. That's probably not going to get any high profile young half done going forward.

We should in 2027 Nathan turns 30 and no guarantee he will resign.Galvin is another once in a generational player
