He's a stud, that's for sure, and a Mt Druit boy too.Finau Latu would be a great buy. The kid has a lot of potential and he is now free to talk to other clubs

Seems like we are trying to cut Sorenson now.Whom to you cut to get the $400,000 extra that Luai was wanting ?
Luai didn't leave for money. The extra cheddar didnt hurt but he really did want a new challenge.

But my point is we had katoa and Burton who wanted to excel their career but Luai was in the way. Now we lost our way... I still think Trent is our best option.
It wasn't the biggest factor and there's actual mail behind that.So he didn't leave for the extra $400,000........oh dear. his agency is 'black money' an agency group noted for scrabbling and often getting the last dollar out of clubs.
I said post leaving.....this was a chance to set me and my family up for life.......
Money had a huge bearing on him leaving.

And he wanted to run his own side.

Yep, this is probably a more accurate description. And he wanted to run his own side.
I'm willing to bet had Penrith coughed up the extra 400,000 he would have stayed at Penrith.
Said as much after the grandfinal.
I go off what Michael Chammas said. The pair played video games together.
He said Luai wanted another challenge and he wanted to run his own side.
Two things we couldn't offer at the time.
I mean were talking about a guy who's extremely high ranked in multiple video games (iirc, definitely in CoD). Were not just talking about demolishing your mates on the couch in Street Fighter, these are regional/global ranking systems that hes got pretty high up in. Hes driven by competition to the point that he dedicates a significant portion of his free time to mastering multiple disciplines. The idea that money (ie, luxury) drives a guy who spends his spare time grinding competitive video games just doesn't add up.I go off what Michael Chammas said. The pair played video games together.

Trust me, he’s not that highly ranked, Jerome was signed by mindfreaks because he’s Jerome Luai who is decent at COD. He’s not that good.I mean were talking about a guy who's extremely high ranked in multiple video games (iirc, definitely in CoD).
