I think he makes a decent point

Luai complements both of those players very well and had success with both players at club and rep level.

Cleary and Moses haven't played together.

One of them will have to sacrifice there games as there both dominant halves. Will that lead to clunkiness possibly.

As much as Luai is a bit of a cat he is perfect for a dominant half in Moses or Cleary.
I think Qld has done this multiple time, 2 dominant 7s playing together.

Agree. I don't think we've seen any evidence - at Origin level or in clubland - that a 6. Moses 7. Cleary combo will work as well as either a 6. Luai 7. Moses or a 6. Luai 7. Cleary combo.

I predict Daley and NSW selectors will still have an uninjured Cleary ahead of an uninjured Moses for the 7. jersey. And so maybe Mitch gets a gig in the squad and/or on the bench/18th man at best.

This all goes back to Queensland picking to win series rather than rewarding players having good seasons. Luai would be better fit to either of the other two but at this moment he’s probably the 10th best NSW half this season.

I think the bigger conundrum is how the f**k do we avoid Daley picking Hudson Dumb, the reincarnation of Ben Creagh.
Yes this is a massive problem

Hudson has had 3 cracks at origin and been awful.

In fact NSW have won the 3 games he hasn't played in the past 2 series and lost the 3 games he has played in.

I think moses can play 6.he knows Cleary is better and has. achieved more and he will play second fiddle.

He knows to play soo he has to accommodate Cleary.

I don't think it's much different to having all these fullbacks on the wing and in the centres.

I think moses would rather succeed at soo with Cleary than watching at home

If you listen to Freddy and the 8th this week, Joey says that Madge planned to use Moses and Cleary together in 2024, before injury split them up.
