The garbage that comes out Penny Wong's mouth is actually more dangerous for this country then whatever Albo's action plan maybe.

Like honestly why bring up the voice on a podcast.

It got voted "NO" the country doesnt want it.
Mentioning the Voice is certainly dangerous to Labor's re-election chances. Complaining about Indigenous issues seems to be the main platform of Dutton's campaign

Dutton saw the worm on Sunday night's debate, where the only fluctuation his way was mention of indigenous issues. So in desperation he and the LNP are trying to drive the wedge that worked so well for them on the Voice in these final few days of campaigning, to try and salvage some votes/current seats.

So what pray tell am I in denial of?
The fact that it lost
No, your refusal to acknowledge that the majority of the country (Indigenous and non-Indigenous) needed more information to acquiesce to a small minority gaining additional influence over the Government.
The fact that most Australians won’t vote for anything that isn’t especially about them
See above
Or the fact that we live in a racist country
There is not a country on Earth that isn't racist to one degree or another. Only the lazy and feeble minded would think the result came down to racism. I'm sure Jacinta Price, Warren Mundine, Ian Conway and Bob Liddle would be amused at being called racists.

Or failed to understand the wording of the referendum change to the Constitution is not the place where that detail is described...?

But agree that some further details of the potential proposal/s that the constitution change would subsequently allow should have been fleshed out and readily available.

They can just be called merkins then.

Unless we have exit polls with details on why people voted the way they voted, and it was truthful (instead of people not trying to no seem racist to pollsters) then I guess we really won't know what the majority of the population that voted were really voting for.

I didn't call anyone in particular racist; I said the country is.

It had only been talked about for 6 years - maybe another 16 years might be enough time for people to figure it out

Yes indeed.

And I wonder how many years it will take people who voted No to realise it's the few rich white folk (who stand most to gain by continued control over and mining and exploitation of huge swathes of originally indigenous land) that built all those slogans and cases against "allowing" indigenous recognition and contributions to debate over the years, to convince the average Joe to support continued growth of elite wealth?

Looking at the antics of Trump v2.0, I think more than a few are starting to realise what these things are really about... And maybe that's also why people like Jacinta Price have been utterly ineffective in campaigning this time around?

And wow... a YouGov poll now predicting a Labor majority, and the worst Coalition vote percentage in 80 years.

“The most likely outcome for the Coalition sees it reduced to 47 seats – its lowest percentage of seats in the federal parliament since 1946,” the statement said.

my prediction for final seat count ranges is
ALP 70 - 80
LNP 50 - 60
GRN 3 - 6
other 15 - 20

Would be pretty funny to see, no matter how you vote. Did it happen to Howard as well, I can't remember? I wonder how many times it's happened over the years, surely not many.
