Well that was certainly something.

Letting teams get out to early leads will cost them eventually, but it seems to be working out ok so far. Ciraldo doing a great job, seems to know exactly what to change in the second half.

Perfect illustration of beating yourself by the roosters, 18 errors most of them unforced, bombed a try over the line, gave away a try from a direct dropped ball, multiple tries from lazy middle defence.

It already cost them against us.

If anyone questions why we would look at someone like DCE, I give you exhibit A.

Sandon was a deer in headlights when the game was on the line. That error from the dogs after we got back in front was the moment. Any half worth their salt ices that for a try but he came up with a forward pass.

Walker or DCE get the job done there.

Credit where it’s due, a team like the roosters can blow any team off the park when they’re on, a team like the dogs have shown they can grind out a win even when they’re not at their best

I dunno about DCE man i’ve been following him for a very very long time and he often does stupid shit like that in clutch moments

You are correct.

Quality halves are in short supply. Even in his age DCE is a top tier half.

Burton is a glorified kick and shovel it to Kiks bot. This is Hayward’s team to run, and if Ciraldo continues all season to play him off the bench at lock he’ll get found out. Ciraldo is trying to copy how Penrith use Yeo, but Yeo is a genuine ball running tackling lock, he does not run the team or make decisions, he just passes from first receiver when a spine player wants him to. Hayward is a genuine controlling halfback.

Yeah, get DCE and Manu back, maybe another signing or two, and when your Union bloke learns to catch you might be a genuine contender.

Entertaining game with some great tries. I'm calling Mark Nawaqanitawase, Nasenbluten from now on. Hopefully Newcastle fans understand the reference at least

Fun game that one. Mark Gilbert Pims is a must watch, goes from potato on LSD to god mode and back again multiple times a game. No question though, the dude is a serious talent.

What a superb game

Mark mark unlucky the dropped bombs undo those brilliant tries
